Acer’s 15-inch laptop is one of the beefiest around the £2500 price point thanks to its 2080 Super smarts and that powerful Intel platform. The specs are best in class, while the FHD IPS display impresses with accurate colours and sharp contrast. That 300Hz panel is one of few to be found on a gaming laptop in 2020, and it’s certainly a match for those meaty components.

I’ve reviewed quite a few of Acer’s gamer notebooks and certainly the cheaper Helios 300 and those Nitro options offer strong value for cash.
