After almost a year of just base M1 Macs and products, Apple had not yet shown their Pro release of higher-end Apple Silicon. Today Apple released the M1 Pro and M1 Max Apple silicon. The first machines with the M1 Pro and M1 Max are all new 14” and 16” MacBook Pro that have M1 Pro and M1 Max options along with a new 120Hz Pro Motion mini-LED display, updated design, a new keyboard, speakers, 1080P webcam, MagSafe, HDMI, thunderbolt 4 and even an SD Card reader. macOS Monterey will release on the new MacBooks Pro also.
