UPDATE 5TH FEBRUARY 2022; Following the release of Dying Light 2, I decided to see whether any improvements had been made to Dying Light following a GeForce Driver update recently, sadly there was no improvement when using the dedicated graphics card through NVIDIA’s Control Panel…. HOWEVER.
Following some tinkering and testing, I am now currently able to play Dying Light on my Acer Nitro 5 Laptop with a GTX 1650 4GB and an i5-9300H with the dedicated graphics selected in NVIDIA’s Control Panel PROVIDING you apply the same settings as myself in this video in BOTH the game AND the Control Panel.
Similar settings could be applied in AMD cards, provided they have those options.
As you can see, the game plays at 60fps with a lot of the settings turned…
