If you are the type who likes to customize Windows then you might want to check out the free 7+ Taskbar Tweaker app that will allow you to apply all sorts of custom settings to your taskbar. You can do things such as change right click, middle click and hover options. You can also customize taskbar grouping and combining settings as well as mouse wheel options. Then if you want to do things such as hide the start button, display seconds in the clock or change what happens when you double click a blank area of the taskbar, there are settings for that.
