Having recently completed the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remaster on PC, I found myself frustrated at the fairly frequent stutters that I would experience during gameplay. So I decided to take a quick look into what could be causing my issues. And since I couldn’t really find much online, I decided to make this quick video on how to fix the stuttering myself.

To improve these stutters you’re going to want to simply disable a few of the more VRAM hungry options in the advanced graphics menu. These are…
“Fill Remaining Memory”
“Cache Sun Shadow Maps”
“Cache Spot Shadow Maps”
Doing this should result in a much smoother experience while maintaining nice and high FPS numbers.
