In this video, I cover how to install, play and mod Skyrim Special / Anniversary edition on Windows 11.
Step 1. Install The Game.
To my knowledge, there are two legal ways to obtain this game, either through Steam or as part of Microsoft Xbox Game Pass.
Once the game is installed, launch at least once and set your graphical settings, as this is very important as it will creates the INI files that we about to tweak.
Step 2. Install and Run BethINI.
This is a standalone utility that allows you to automatically tweaks the game’s INI files to improve performance and reduce crashes.
There are two versions you can download but I recommend the standalone version.
Once launched, the interface is very modular, and you can make it as simple or complicated as you want it to be, personally I only make changes in the Basic tab.
Specifically, I choose the High preset and Recommended Tweaks options.
