In this video. I demonstrate how to install the Unity desktop on Ubuntu 19.10. To install, open a terminal and enter the following:
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt install ubuntu-unity-desktop unity-tweak-tool
While this installs, you will be given a choice to use either lightdm or gdm; lightdm is what unity traditionally used. After the install has completed, reboot your system.
To fix graphical issues with client side decorations, add the following to the terminal:
sudo apt remove gtk3-nocsd
