How to Uninstall and Delete a Preinstalled Android System App with Root?



Preinstalled Android apps can be annoying and take up space but the SD Maid application can completely uninstall and delete this bloatware if you have root access.

Having full control over your hardware is something I feel is important so I’m not a fan of preinstalled bloatware apps disabling this uninstall feature of Android.

Thankfully, with root access we can do just about anything we want with our smartphones and that’s what this SD Maid application can do for us.

Once opened, you’ll need to tell the app to list these system apps first. Then go ahead and tell the app to refresh its app list so you can see everything you have installed.
