Apple has recently stopped signing iOS 17.3.1 which made downgrading from iOS 17.4 no longer possible. This was bad for jailbreaking because iOS 17.4 patches some important vulnerabilities, including a kernel bug that we believe may help us deal with PPL and SPTM. These are available on iOS 17.3.1 and below and they could prove useful for jailbreak purposes. Today I will talk about a method you can use to still get iOS 17.3.1 or even iOS 17.2.1 if you run a very old iOS version such as iOS 13 or iOS 14.

REMEMBER: You should NOT update from any iOS 16 or iOS 15 build. iOS 15 and iOS 16 will always be easier to jailbreak in the short term than iOS 17 which adds extra complexity. Only take this route if the version you’re on starts affecting App Support greatly.
