Apple has finally stopped signing iOS 17.3.1 which makes downgrading for iOS 17.4 no longer possible. iOS 17.4 patches a couple of important vulnerabilities, including a kernel and an AMFI vulnerability. These are available on iOS 17.3.1 and below and they could prove useful for jailbreak purposes.

Right now, iOS 17.4 is the worst iOS version to be on if you are looking for a jailbreak in the near future. If possible, stay on iOS 17.3.1 or lower on all devices.
