Since the beginning, iPads revealed great potential for live performance.
After 2018, iPad Pro has also proven itself as a capable, efficient and portable device for music production, thanks to a massive improvement in processing power, storage and file managing ( we now have old style “normal” direct drag and drop, copy/paste )and more importantly, mature and powerful software that finally unveiled the potential and brought it to reality.
Using an iPad Pro M2, 16 GB, 1TB, limitations starts to fade away, giving place to a very pleasing, fast and versatile workflow.
iPadOS evolved in a way that can match heavy old operating systems, while keeping true to its original concept: lightness and efficiency. At least for my use case.
