Low Power Mode Intel MacBook Pro Performance vs Efficiency || Battery Test macOS Monterey 12.0.1



With the release of macOS Monterey, Apple’s bought the Low Power Mode to the Mac. According to Apple, Low Power Mode on Mac reduces the system clock speed and the display brightness in order to extend your battery life even further.

Now that I’ve had a chance to play around with macOS Monterey, I was curious to see if The Low Power Mode had a significant impact on my MacBook Pro – and if yes, then how much. In this video, I’ll be putting my personal MacBook Pro through a stress test, checking at the battery drain in intervals, overall performance and temperature. Keep in mind that this is not a scientific way to test the battery performance but should give us a good idea to gauge the overall performance difference.
