If anyone would like to connect an external monitor to this laptop, this is possible via Thunderbolt and a TH-DisplayPort adapter. While HDMI, DP outputs are reserved for Nvida GTX graphics which are not compatible with macOS.
Intel WiFi works well but better is change to native WiFi/BT for more macOS features.
