Performance Review + Optimized Settings using XeSS | Patch 1.63 | Cyberpunk 2077

Patch 1.63 is the last patch before patch 2.0 that will be released in conjunction with the Phantom Liberty expansion. Patch Notes, besides various bug fixes, state that:

Patch Notes: PC-specific

Fixed a crash that occurred on launch when using Razer Chroma.
Fixed an issue where Photo Mode screenshots could appear as empty files and brought them back to their original folder location.
Improved performance of DLSS Frame Generation on AMD CPUs.

I also noticed some general improvements in CPU utilization and improved performance on CPU bound scenarios (yes even on 30-40FPS) when driving, which tends to be really CPU heavy.
FSR 2.1 ghosting isn’t yet fixed, so I recommend XeSS for users without RTX GPUs. Finally, using Digital Foundry’s Optimized settings the game is more than playable even on a GTX 1060, while looking really good! Loading times are fast, even without a Direct Storage implementation (cough cough TLoU Part 1).
