The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumored to launch on January 17 alongside the S24 and S24+. The phone is rumored to have a similar design as that of the S23 Ultra but with a titanium frame. The display is currently rumored to measure 6.8 inches with a peak brightness of 2500 nits and a 144hz refresh rate. The battery capacity is also tipped to increase by 10% over the S23 Ultra coming in at 5500mAh. The phone is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with One UI 6 on board. The phone is rumored to feature the same 200mp camera as the S23 Ultra with slight tweaks. It is also rumored to have the same ultrawide and front camera as the S23 Ultra. The major changes are happening to the telephoto cameras. Samsung is rumored to ditch the 10x periscope in favor of a higher 50MP 5x telephoto to compete with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The phone is rumored to launch at the same price as the S23 Ultra at $1199.
