For 2023, Samsung has updated the hinge on their book-style Android foldable phone, and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 now folds flat. It features a 7.6” flexible AMOLED 2X inner display and a 6.2” outer AMOLED 2X display, both with 1750 nits of peak brightness. The phone supports the optional S Pen, has Samsung DeX and runs Android with One UI on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. It faces new competition from the Google Pixel Fold this year in the US.
