SKR Mini E3 V2.0 – Complete guide to the best value Ender 3 upgrade



The Bigtreetech SKR mini E3 is a plug and play 32 bit mainboard for the Creality Ender 3, Ender 5 and CR-10. It is very popular because it is affordable and capable. In this third iteration, many of the bugs have been ironed out and a strong focus on reliability has been added.

In this video I explain the changes in the new version, cover installation, compiling firmware, BLtouch, EEPROM, filament runout, Neopixels, TFT35 touch screen, BTT wifi and sensorless homing. Thanks to the great work by the Marlin devs and Bigtreetech, most of these are quite easy to set up.

This board should be more reliable and offers slightly more refinement due to the automatic control of the electronics fan.
