Windows tweaks to lower latency and improve 1% lows



1. Download Latencymon

2. Reboot PC and wait 2 minutes.
3. Use Latencymon to see what kind of latency you are getting
4. Stop laltencymon after 2 minutes.
5. Take a screen shot of
-Main: to get an overall idea of how much latency you are seeing
-Processes: to determine what’s causing page faults
-Driver (to show you which drivers are causes the highest DPC and the highest execution time in ms)
-CPU: which Core is pegged the most. It is usually CPU 0
6. Go to Settings, Personalization, Colors, Disable Transparency Effects
7. Go to Settings, System, Multitasking: Disable Snap Windows
8. Open Powershell as admin (right click on the window icon in the lower left corner)
Copy and paste this: powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61
Hit enter and close and reboot PC. If you don’t have Ultimate Performance already.
9. Open and type Power & Sleep Settings
Go to Additional Power Settings
Select Ulimate…
